KCARC provides Therapeutic Services to individuals in the Supported Living, Medicaid Waiver, and Family Support Services programs in their home, work, school, and community. Behavior Support, Wellness Coordination, and Speech Therapy are all provided at KCARC; more tools for families and individuals to create their vision of a well-rounded life. All services are positive in nature, person-centered, culturally responsive, sensory-integrated, and based on clinical “best practices.”

Instruction is provided by a state licensed Special Education Teacher. We implement a formal, written individualized education plan for each child. We offer inclusive classrooms with over 55% of children experiencing typical development. We also offer speech, physical and occupational therapy, and transportation services.
The Civitan Children’s Center preschool program has been a staple in this community for more than 40 years. Teachers at the center are qualified, life-long learners that encourage the development of positive social skills that children will master as they grow.
Our Center is NAEYC accredited, has Paths To Quality's highest rating level, and all staff and personnel are CPR and first aid certified. We are part of the CACFP food program, and are a nut-free facility.
We offer multiple daily outdoor play and exploration time when permitted by weather, and our entire facility is secure and monitored at all times. Speech, Physical and Occupational therapy services are offered on site for children that qualify.
