Job Description

The Employment Specialist position is a full-time position primarily Monday – Friday with occasional weekends required. 

 

This position works with people to obtain employment, learn job skills and maintain their job.  It also works with employers to work through any issues that might arise on the job site.  This position requires creativity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with people. 

 

A successful applicant will have had experience in job training and employee development.  Will have experience in report or documentation and a willingness to learn new skills. 

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience preferred in rehabilitation special education, other behavioral science, or a closely related discipline. Successful applicants should have experience or formal training in job placement, task analysis, data keeping, job analysis, and worksite training. QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN CLIPPING-PACKING ASSISTANT CREW LEADER

Job Description

This full-time position is located in our Plant 2 Sewing Department located in Vincennes, Indiana, and will be working Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm. (Current overtime hours are 6 am to 4:30 pm).

The Quality Control Technician Clipping and Packing Assistant Crew Leader is responsible for maintaining the quality of all manufactured products from receiving to final inspection and testing. Provide a consistent progressive program for all staff. Assist in the supervision of staff in a production situation.

Education Requirements

The Job Coach will supervise the on-site performance and offer work-related support for eligible staff.

Teacher Assistant

Job Description

The Teacher Assistant position is a full-time position working Monday through Friday in our Civitan Children’s Center in Vincennes.

KCARC Civitan Children's Center is an ISO 9001:2015 certified, NAEYC accredited early childhood education facility teaching students from 12 months to 5 years. Our special education program is under the instruction of a licensed Special Education Teacher. With opportunities for advancement into a teaching career, Civitan Children's Center trains applicants to become active members of our classrooms by assisting teachers and students.

This position will assist the classroom teacher in maintaining a developmentally appropriate and language-rich classroom environment. This role also requires keeping the classroom teacher, the Director of Children’s Services and all other children’s services staff informed of any issues, problems or concerns that arise. You will also provide close supervision of students at all times by keeping all students within sight and sound and ensuring attendance clipboard is present and accurate at all times. This position is also responsible for assisting with food program duties, providing leadership and classroom management during the teacher’s absence and all other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Production Worker 2 positions are full-time, working day shift hours (ending at 3:30 p.m. most days) with occasional overtime and flex schedules required. The positions are in our wood and metal shop in Vincennes, Indiana.

This position will be required to work with wood working tools including but not limited to pneumatic and manual hammers, saws, hoist, planer, and drills, to build pallets, crates tables and other wood products. Employee will be adequately trained to perform required tasks in a timely manner and of acceptable quality and be expected to lift 50 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance.
