The Assistant Facility Coordinator will assist in the facility management of KCARC's 1972 and Youth Day Programming.
This is a full time position with hours 10am - 7pm working Tuesday through Saturday.
This position will help the Facility Coordinator to maintain 1972. This will include assisting with scheduling of parties, events, and meetings, helping to maintain social media pages, assist in the management of Youth Day Programming, and help to maintain KCARC's 1972's mission.

KCARC's Classroom Teacher position works, Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm, and is located at our Civitan Children’s Center.

The Program Assurance Specialist will provide oversight to assigned waiver sites at KCARC. This position will ensure health, safety, and welfare of each program participant by assuring appropriate programming.
This employee will also perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms and reports, as needed, provide staff retraining as directed by Residential Services Coordinator, assist the Consultant Dietician in completing residential nutritional assessments annually, within 30 days of admission, and on an as-needed basis. Record and submit dietary/nutritional status in quarterly progress notes. Develop menus, with assistance of the Consulting Dietician, for assigned waiver homes, work closely with 1972 Dietary Manager, KCARC Speech Therapist, and KCARC nurse to complete an initial dietary assessment and develop an appropriate dining plan on all new residential SGL or CIH waiver program participants.
Education/Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. The employee must be able to perform the essential duties of this job. Be able to frequently lift 75 pounds independently and over 75 pounds with assistance. Maintain reliable transportation available for use during working hours, valid driver’s license and provide proof of automobile liability coverage.
